Pretty nice driver project. Maybe good for Zeph. Depending on price might be fine thing to work on.

Well, it's certainly not a show car. But, depending on price, it may be a good introduction for a novice into the wonderful world of Hudson.
Why do people not put the skirts on before taking the pics? Clips rotted away or what?

Definitely would be a good driver, one question I would have, Orchard Park NY is just outside of Buffalo. If this car spent much of it's life in Upstate NY, in the snowbelt area, the floorboards, frame, rear wheelwells and doglegs are suspect. I remember very well how cars rotted to nothing in 3-4 years, much less 50+.
Not for me, but somebody will end up with what can be a good solid car. Having the tank and brakes done properly already is a huge plus. Still watching for that elusive 48 Commodore (coupe if at all possible) I like the interior of the 48 far better than the later ones. (even the steering wheel!)

You'd be surprised at the number of 50+ year old cars that originated in the snow/rust belt which remain intact. It's a matter of how and where it was kept as well as whether it was driven in snow, on salted roads.
Hopefully, this car will make a nice driver for someone. It's had some work done but needs more, just like most cars. Keep looking, that 48 coupe will show up. Maybe even one that someone has installed a nice looking steering wheel on.

Yup the colder the weather the less likely they rust. Of course the thaw and sitting in water will do it every time no matter where you live.

True. The colder the air the less humidity it can hold. And let's not forget the cars along our coasts, the salt laden air does wonders for metal. If you're going to keep a car in a damp environment or one where the air is full of corrosives, you're asking for rust.
