Hi everybody,

I'm Dave, helmsmaster of a beautifully restored 1953 Hudson Hornet 4dr. I purchased the car back in April of last year. Although I'm no stranger to old cars, I've reached a point in life where I didn't wat to do any heavy restoration. So, I bought a car that someone already spent way too much time and money on. Everything on the car is new or rebuilt except for the rear window. So far, I've been getting familiar with the car and taking care of some minor details.

Glad to be hear,

Dave

Thanks for joining Dave, you seem like a nice fellow, right off the bat I get a warm feeling about you. A true friend of Hudsons and the like. How about posting a picture of that beauty for the rest of us to post jealous comments about.

Yep, that's me, Mr. Trouble...note the capital T. Thanks for the welcome! And just in case you're all wondering, I've brought my colorful past with me. I'm glad that some people have gotten what I'm all about. Warm and friendly, yes, I'd like to think so. Although some old farts may think I'm a tad goofy, I just have an abstract sense of humor. I'm certainly a lover of good friends, fun, cars, and all that is good in life. I certainly do love Hudsons and (most) of the people who own them are cool, especially our beloved moderator and world renowned hudsonkid.

As far as posting a pic of "Roc", I'll get around to that as soon as I can. I'll give a heads up so ya'all can get the drool rags ready. Wink

Dave

Good to have you aboard Dave. Gave you a bitchin avatar until you get a pic of that Hornet up so I can create a super cool avatar out of that. I transfered HK's old avatar over for him before lowering the flag to half mast.

Now if a certain lover of Glitter and Rodney could come over here we would be totally complete.

Later I will begin discussing my wind tunnel testing of Hornets. Feel free to join in....

Thanks for the welcome. Oooh, look at may avatar! I feel like an avatar-star. Now where't that glitter emoticon?

I was going to contact that certain someone to ask if Rondey and the rest of the Gliterazzi crowd want to come on board. However, the antenna I use to contact their mother ship is down right now.

Ah, the wind tunnel testing. Can't wait to detect the smoke coming from the ears.

Dave

That is a pretty bad asses avatar.

It kind of reminds me of the one guy's street rod in Hollywood Knights, remember the yellow 40 ford? Probably one of the best rods, ever, IMHO.

I like the half mast reference. May my name live in infamy. Confused

You guys won't beleive all of the PM's I got, thinking I was just kidding. What a mess.

I was thinking that if Kittmaster and Rodney try to join, are they going to get denied membership? Laughing

As if people don't have enough to talk about, can you see me driving something like that down the street? Woo Hoo!

The day the forum went dead...it will forever be a day of national mourning. Crying or Very sad Or were they speaking of something else being at half mast? Razz

Kittmaster, Rondey and Apu Nahasapeemapdealon will probably find there way here sooner or later. We should just refer them back to lala land. Hummm, maybe I'll give um a CCPM. Twisted Evil
