This coupe looks to be a pretty good deal at 11K BIN. Zephyrmec you should have a look at this its a 49 Commodore Six coupe. I mean I do not like the interior work but that is easy to fix as the material is available and a paint job when you can and you will have a nice Hudson coupe.

| I'm watching it, if the BIN is $11K, he will take less. I really like the 48 better, but the differences are minor.... Let's see how the bids run. I was hoping for an unmolested one, but this doesn't look bad. I wonder how many poor little Naugas gave their lives for that upholstery?

Nice looking car. I'd like to see pics of the underside though. Although vinyl wouldn't be my first choice for upholstery, it does look tidy. For that matter, the paint doesn't look that bad.

This is a nice car and if I wanted it I would BIN it and be done with it.

These coupes are hard to come by in reasonable shape and with a good price. Seems to me this is a good driver project. Over time could fix interior and do a nice paint job and have a really nice car. Of course OD has to go in while I was at that I would pull the engine and freshen it up.

Compared to a 53 Hornet Turd I saw advertised on the Net for $3,500.00, $11,000.00 for this car makes a heck of alot more sense. But then again, the 53's are so highly sought after...

Maybe $7500-$8000, those are US dollars. It's pretty nice, but not $11K nice. (IMO)

What the heck thats not a Hudson model I recognize in that link LOL
Getting a coupe like this at 11k is harder to do nowadays so sometimes you have to jump in and grab them. We have see some crazy POS on ebay for 8-10k that are rolling wrecks but are coupes so to find a driver like this will be harder and harder to do.

The way prices are going, this 49 is looking like it's priced right.

Thats what I am saying this car is totally complete all chrome and trim and its a higher level Commodore. Most of the coupes we have seen over the last 6 months have been Pacemakers or Super Sixes so to grab a Commodore in this condition for the price is a bargain in my book.

And, it's also encouraging that the seller seems to know his way around the Hudson world.
