Yes, it's a turd. With that being said, it never ceases to amaze me how many unrestored Hudsons keep popping up. I think it says something about the car since so many people kept them, 4 doors in particular, all these years.

other than cosmetics, and missingparts, none of which are hard to find, this is a terrific project for a great price!

I would keep the body the way it is, never paint it...

I see alot of potential with this one.... resto or rod?
4 choices to go with this....
1) full restoration,
2) rod the puppy,
3)rat rod it (the 2nd cheapest way),
4) or use it as a yard ornament (the cheapest way). You could turn the
engine compartment into a compost bin...but I feel a chev of ford
would be better for that. Set the head lights on a motion detector
and then you have security lights. You can also set up the horn
as an alarm.

I'm all for option 4. It's absolutely brilliant! In addition, you could turn into a recepticle for large postal or UPS deliveries.
