I look at this car and look at the rust in the door frame and rockers plus the dent, plus the engine has a green head the interior is crap and the car is dents all over and I think to myself that Super Wasp coupe for 10K is a steal.

This car at BIN of $15,999 is 10K over priced.

OMG Shocked Where to begin! This car needs it all. Certainly not beyond hope, but $15,000.00 for this! Give me a break. That red coupe turd at auction recently was reported to have fetched $13.5k. Who knows, maybe there's someone else with more money than brains will buy this one, too.

The local Hudson club thinks this car is worth $15k as it is? I wonder if someone is smoking crack or they have their finger in it?

I have some questions. They are:

1. Was the relay on the starter from the factory? I think not.
2. Is the locking gas cap a legit Hudson part?
3. Is the oil filler/breather cap correct for this car?

Come on the green head is for St. Paddies day....being Irish I appreciate this...LOL local Hudson club must be drinking the Kool-Aid

But seriously folks this car has a LOT of rust take a look at that door. When you get that much rust in the fender well you have serious problems the rockers look shot and I want to see that frame....

Green head...what were they thinking. Frame, what frame? Do you have an interest in seeing a pile of metal dust? LOL

yeah, the relay was on the starter for 48-50, for sure, and perhaps a few 51's even?

This one scares me, it has some major rust issues. all of the underhood brackets are rusty, the fender alone should send someone running. I bet you take off the rear fenders, and you have a lot of missing frame rail....

I think the biggest question is how did they conceivably come up with that value? It almost has to be in a different currency. I think that even 5K might be pushing the value on this one....

It could be worse. For example, if we were in Vietnam, the BIN on this car would be 257,631,897 Dongs.

He has taken the BIN off it now and is running straight reserve auction. This car will not sell and what garbage about $15,000 of receipts I hate this kind of crap. I would hate for someone to unknowingly buy this piece of junk. Its a rust bucket worth maybe $1500 thats it. For 15K I can buy a nice Hudson.

So this car is now back on ebay and I am shocked I do not know why it did not sell the last time like he says in the new ad the reserve is fair for this type of car. This guy has to be kidding. Does not matter one bit what it 'will' be worth after someone spends 20-30K to restore it only matters what it is worth now. The car has rust throughout and will take some serious body work plus a complete new interior.

So this car is back for the second time so get used to it he needs to post it another eight times to be in the league of the other overpriced project cars on ebay.

Maybe with a starting bid of $2,000.00, he may get a few bids. However, $15,000.00 dollars invested in this car is either a flat out lie or he really got hosed on recent repairs. Just needs a little TLC... Shocked He must be blind or has really low standards. Although the car may run and drive, the body and undercarriage corrosion will not fix itself. Furthermore, most people would be embarrased to drive a car that look like this. And, to add insult to injury, the seat springs poking you in the butt will be a constant reminder of just what a disheveled hulk you're driving.

Paint and interior alone would be $10,000.00. Cars like this should be bought (at a fair price) by someone who has a body and paint shop that can do a good job (at cost) and turn it around. Since restoration costs paid by the average Joe would be more than a car like this is worth, it's cheaper to buy a car that's already been restored.

In the pics you can see that the drivers floor is rotten, probably the same on the passenger side. The rockers are obviously rotten and from the amount of rust showing high in the door frame and fender I would say the frame of this car is rotten as well. The head liner has moisture damage so water got into that car the state of the interior is really bad. The engine, where do I start I would wager looking at the rest of the car that this has to be done as well.

Another seller who knows nothing about Hudsons or chooses to over look the issues to make a sale. This will not sell unless the price is under 5K.

This car reminds me of a similar one that left a club meeting recently. While a friend and I were standing in the parking lot of the restaurant chatting, the car quickly pulled out of the driveway and into traffic. In doing so, big chunks of what used to be parts of the car fell off and bounced down the road. That car was driveable, just not safe to drive.

A car in this advanced state of water related degeneration is suited to someone who has already restored cars or currently does so for a living. If the seller gets anything close to $5,000.00 for this wreck, I'm going to start buying wrecks and selling them on eBay.

Based on this seller's method of valuation I am selling my Hornet I am putting up a BIN of $91,000 I talked to the local HET members and they say it is worth $91,000 as it sits......

I was visited by the spirits of Frank Spring and A.E. Barit. They say my car is priceless and, if I ever sell it, that I should set a starting price of 100 trillion dollars for it. BTW, they said they have never seen such a beautiful Hudson and that it was...Heavenly.
