Winter Storage

Folks,

it getting close to that time of year when we have to think about getting our cars ready for winter storage. Anyone have any tips? Here is what I do.

1. Put gasoline stabilizer in the tank
2. Change the oil as old oil can corrode bearings if left sitting
3. Check Antifreeze
4. I remove the battery and put it on the bench where I charge it every month
5. Use a good car cover that breaths
6. Go through whole car make sure no mice have got in

I do not have enough garage space yet to store mine so I use a local storage company that has car storage. I get a separate garage that is big enough for my car alone. I drive it in and make sure points above are done. Worked great last year. During winter I never open garage as it allows temp to go up and down. I leave her sleep all winter.
