Oh so you replaced the old treadle vac with a new unit. Dual master cylinder? thats a better idea.

yes and what a difference i had to make some mods to the multiplying brake pedal (needed for the old treadl vac) lenghened one of the levers on the transfer lever to make them even and it worked just have to bleed the back brakes and it will be out on the road if i have trouble with them i will need to get the drums of any tips for this would be great my friend has a 59 dodge wagon and getting the drums of that was a nightmare those tapers sure hold on tight i guess there was a special tool maybe i could make one if i had a drawing? any info will be appreciated thanks Baz

Yes rear drums require proper tool I have one and will show you in pic here.

This is the tool here. Its a must if you own a Hudson. When you put drums back on use a little anti seize makes it easier next time.
