Folks just a note of welcome to all the new members of our Hudson community here at Hudson Motorcar.
Sorry I didn't post a welcome sooner I have been tied up getting everything running nicely.
I hope everyone has an enjoyable time and gets some posting going so we can get to know each other.
So here is a question for you. How did you get interested in Hudsons. What model do you have and some info about it. You can post a pic of it in the gallery I would love to have a look

I don't have a Hudson yet but I am looking. You can tell by my ID what I am looking for. A pipe dream I know but I can dream.
Anyway, just wanted to say I like the site and I am checking in regularly to keep up on Hudsons. Hope members start posting Hudsons for sale soon.
Tom

quick note to say hi. I am new to the Internet but want to learn more. Just hope I am posting in the right spot.
I have a 46 Hudson Super Six in mint condition and its unrestored. I have owned it for over 20 years and its my Sunday driver. Its the 4 door sedan its big and rides smooth and I would not part with it. I just wash and shine it and change the oil and lube it regular and it never misses a beat.

Wow Mark welcome to the site. Do not think I have ever seen a 42 Pickup up close. Do you have any pics you can share. We would be happy to help you in any way we can.

Due to WWII, a 1942 anything is rare. I'd like to see pictures of that PU too.

| Welcome Mark! definitely need pictures, if it's a work in progress, even more so! Any in progress pictures can be invaluable for reference purposes. One doesn't get to see these pickups often and most of us would be driving one if the right one could be located.

I can send some photos of each truck, they are both different as one is the Traveller series and the other is the Big boy version, the smaller truck is having the most treatment at the moment, and yes i can only agree you can not find many pictures of either,i am struggling on parts and info.
Could somebody help me with the photo situation, how do i get them on here? Thanks again.....

Hello my name is Liam Peoples and me and my dad have just bought a 1940 hudson super six coupe, we are planning on rebuilding the engine, repainting it and fixing a few rust problems underneath. We have absoloutly no experience restoring hudsons and we have a few questions.
Wherewould the V.I.N. on the car be located? How do I decode a hudson V.I.N.? and what is the difference between a coupe and a victoria coupe?
If anybody could answer our questions it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Liam,
I will have that info to you in a bit.
Are you coming to our meet in Leduc starting this Friday. You can meet some Hudson folk see Hudsons and one fellow has a 40 Hudson pickup and he is bringing parts for that year you might need.
