Hudson dealers in western Canada

While enjoying a cool refreshing beverage, and staring into the empty engine compartment of my 52 Hornet, (which is a common activity for me lately), that and waiting for parts. I got to wondering about the history of this particular Hudson. I know one of the previous owners bought the car from a farm in Ladner BC way back in 1986.

Does anyone know where the Hudson dealers were in Western Canada? there couldn't have been a huge amount of them sold,...I can only recall seeing one other Hornet. It seems there are more 46 - 47 models around?

There were dealers in

Winnipeg: Western Canadian Motor Car Company
Regina: Capital Car Co. They sold a lot of Hudson's on the Pairies
Edmonton: Healy Motors
Calgary: Motor Livery
Lethbridge: HT Henderson
Victoria: Vancouver Island Motors

There were a lot more dealers than the above listed. I haven't transferred them out of the Canadian docs I have and sent them into the Hudson club to be including in the dealers listing Book.

Hudson had an assembly plant in Tilbury Ontario that supplied Hudsons to Canada and the rest of the world. A lot of the overseas shipments to commonwealth countries came from Canada.
