I have the 3 speed transmission with the overdrive unit. 52 Hornet. The output shaft seal is weeping a tad. Does anyone make a replacement for the felt OEM seal?
Also is there a magnetic drain plug available for the transmission?

The generator is in need of a going over, the fan pulley end bearing is rough, this is non sealed ball bearing originally lubricated via the oil cup, wondering if it wouldn't be a good idea to replace with a sealed bearing??

For seals Dave Kostanek is a good resource or Doug Wildrick who used to do a lot of Hudson tranny work.

You can replace with a sealed bearing. Though the original bearing oiled will last forever.

I have seen magnetic plugs if you have access to a rare earth magnet you can make your plug magnetic.
