| My Zephyr went down the road Friday..... Now it's time to either step down, or climb up into a T. The right guy finally came along and was specifically looking for a 36 or 37 Zephyr. He took it home Friday

Wow great news.
I will email you some leads next week and you can pursue your car.
Which models were you interested in and how much lettuce you got to spend.

| Looking for a 48,49 50 Commodore. Prefer 2 door, manual trans with o/d. hopefully a Big 6 rather than the 8. (want a nice driver, pseudo 7X power) don't want a 100 point show car, just one that is structurally sound and won't eat me alive just getting it driveable. Not as a hot rod, just a cool second car. if the price goes beyond around 12K, I'll buy a museum quality grinnin hamster rambler or a T. for half that and pocket a bunch of the frogskins for later. I can do paint, and most mechanical work, but don't want another project. crappy interior or chrome will kill it for me. (there was a nice big-boy pickup on e-bay out in California, ideal condition. great shape, no rust, tired paint.) No big bucks Hornet, Ragtop or highly optioned repair barge. Gotta check with Mr. Hudson (D. Lanning) down here, he always seems to know where there is a nice step-down available for reasonable.

| Does look pretty good. I have family in the area. Maybe I'll have someone check it out. A super six could be a good driver, without cobbing it up too much. a pseudo 7X, (streetable version) and a set of radials would make it perfectly driveable as a second car. if the price is right, no more expensive than a decent second hand car. It has the flat dash that I really like, and the big ugly hub on the steering wheel. (the one that Dave hates so badly)

| A buddy has a nice 23 T touring that he has owned for 40+ years, he is in his 80s and may be interested in parting with it. I've driven it, it's not a show car, but a fine toy, worth about an honest $7-8K. may need tires and routine service, but what doesn't?

Yeah thats an early steering wheel for 49 did not make it into full production they changed the wheel to a simpler one for Super Six for rest of production run so its quite rare. Not a reason to buy a car but cool non the less.
Probably wants around 12K for it I am thinking.
T's are fine and all but not the kind of car I like to cruise around in. I need the low stance of the Hudson my arm out the window on a sunny day cruising looking for trouble.
