This one takes the cake. Guy is selling a part he has no idea what it is but someone believes its worth BIN of $100. Of course its a dual action fuel pump that probably needs rebuilding and is not worth $100 unless it was rebuilt. ebay just gets better and better.

It's just a turd core at best. He'd be lucky to get $7.00 for it. I love the lazy people who can't be bothered to take a minute to clean stuff off before they take a picture of it and put it one ebay.

For $100 I want that thing rebuilt delivered to my door and installed for me. These guys live in a dream world. I saw a guy selling a crank that he had checked and it was off a bit he wanted $675 then you have to spend $800 to have it balanced and rebuilt.

If it were an NOS part rebuilt to withstand new gasolines, it might be worth $100.00. Can it be long before we see jars of feces or urine up for auction on ebay? Probably, if the seller claims they were from a celeb.

I would think that someone trying to pass a drug test would put value on a jar of pee, I think it is a banned item on eBay.

as a seller, you need to know what you can and cannot sell on eBay. I once tried to sell a knock off Patek Phillippe watch, on eBay, just as a replica, wrong, it got booted off. I read the section on banned items, and there are some interesting items on the list. One of them, is anything with the third reich (swastika) on it. You can sell the item, but cannot show a picture of the actual symbol. I think this is wierd, since there are a lot of collectors of WWII stuff, not promotors of the idealism, but eBay is real touchy....

what people do, is often times tape over, or offer additional pictures of items that might not fit into ebay's item list.

They're so goofy. About a year ago, I did a seach for a used gas tank sock which returned listings of people selling used/soiled socks. Now come on, they allow people to sell sick stuff like that but have a problem with WWII artifacts. Maybe the management allows certain things to be listed, like things that cater to their own perverted fetishes. Recently, when looking at cars on their site, there were several listings that said something like, "Winning bidder gets a night with a whore." It's amazing how long it takes them to remove that stuff.
