I am looking for a Hudson Hornet '54 Coupe (or Sedan) Double-H-Power in CA.
I actually live in Germany, but my mother lives in CA. So she could have a look for me.

Welcome aboard will keep my eyes and ears open. Have you joined the Hudson club so you can get access to the WTN magazine which lists club members cars for sale? this is a good source of cars.

Thanks for the reply.
Of course I ment Twin-H-Power.
Hudson CLub will be the next step for me.
Good thing is, that my mother has a car repair shop in CA.

Yup I knew what you meant about Twin H. Are you looking for fully restored? a driver or a car to work on? makes a diff. It will be harder to find a coupe. I see good sedans all the time.

A car to work on would be fine.
It just shouldn't have rust (holes) in the body.
Fully restored is to expensive and is no fun.

I think I even like the Sedan better than the Coupe.

Thats a 53 Hornet without an engine. I would hold off for a 54. You will see them come up for good prices.

Rear quarter panels and the grill area. Rest of body is pretty much the same. And the interior and dash on the 54 is completely different.

Ich habe eine Wohnung in Frankfurt am Main, wohne aber seit kurzem wieder in der Nähe von Hamburg.
Thanks 51hornet for the info.
Lets see what will happen.

Is the 54 hornet special model with a one piece front window or 2 seperated?
Or do I make a mistake between hollywood and hornet specia?

All of the 1954 Hornet, Hornet Specials, Hollywoods and Wasp, Super Wasps have a one piece front windshield.
