Now this truck is rare and looks in really good shape for restoration. Body looks solid and the fenders have the side mount wells. Pretty nice candidate for complete resto and you will not lose money doing this one.

The last one of these I saw restored went for 135K so they do alright and they look good to boot. The body looks rock solid here and the nice thing is you can use the car parts to restore it as a lot is missing. But the metal looks awesome. First thing I would do is strip that down to components and media blast everything then take for a rust dip. Then primer the lot and start the magic.

I would convert it into a Chevy Tahoe.

I would convert it into a Terraplane sedan to piss people off. They would say its so rare and I would say yes it drives nice as a sedan.......I would then tip my hat to them and wink.....like I was sharing a private joke with them that they were just too stupid to understand.

OK, how about a compromise? I say we turn it into a Chevy Terror-plane crew cab, complete with a 12 cylinder Rolls Merlin engine.

I say yup to that if we use the Hudson Invader engine I have in the garage so it was for a PT boat but when we are finished with this people will be calling it a boat ....a very powerful boat...we will sit on each side of the engine so we should be nice and warm in winter......

A Hudson Invader engine it is. But I think we'll have to put it in the bed. That makes me think about a guy I met (who I'm trying to locate) who had some Hudson stuff for sale (but I didn't have a Hudson then) who had a couple of NOS Hemi marine engines for sale.
